Anyway would you really prefer to see European Americans depicted onscreen the way African Americans are depicted? When was the last time you saw a black surgeon onscreen? r a black scientist? r a black professor? Can you look at movies and really believe that white Americans are getting the short end of the stick? By the way I notice you have an Italian last name. Come to think of it when was the last time you saw an Italian American surgeon scientist or professor onscreen? When was the last time you saw an Italian American depicted as something besides a lovable idiot or a thug? Let me suggest as one paisan to another that maybe it’s time to stop identifying with the oppressed majority and start identifying with the oppressed minority.
