The election of the Rt Revd Nigel Stock as the 10th Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is due to be confirmed by the Archbishop of Canterbury later. Bishop Stock has started the weekly podcasts for the diocese ahead of his enthronement on 20 November. A diocese spokesman said the bishop’s podcasts starting on Tuesday will look at his life and philosophy. The diocese said the podcasts are a way for the bishop to introduce himself to the diocese before parishioners get the opportunity to meet him in person.
