Making headlines today:n Tuesday Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa said that the work currently being done to investigate possible support measures for firms and sectors in distress filled him with “great trepidation”. He also noted that South Africa simply did not have the resources to pursue large bail-outs anywhere approaching the scale and depth being discussed in some developed economies.
