We talked almost exclusively about the Republican race for governor and Jillson offered some frank assessment of whether Kay Bailey Hutchison has already waited too long what she needs to do to regain the upper hand and what the chances are that she might be able to grow the electorate. We went for about 20 minutes.

Making headlines today:Public Enterprises Minister Barbara Hogan has given the assurance that government remains committed to South Africa’s pebble-bed modular reactor nuclear power programme. Speaking at a press conference this week she stated that government believed that time was of the essence in developing nuclear energy in the country.
